ACTION RACKET LAB Storytelling Workshop for the Young at Art

Lois and Joanie share their storytelling expertise and encourage participants to share their observations and conclusions. They start with questions:

  • What makes a good story?
  • What is the difference between hearing a story and reading one?
  • How do characters help to tell the story?
  • How do suspense, conflict and humor make a good story even better?

Word games inspire participants to reveal the stories they've always wanted to tell.

The workshop is given in single and multi-session formats. Family members, caregivers and staff are encouraged to attend and participate. Duration of each session: 60 minutes
