ACTION
RACKET LAB Theatre Workshop
Leads young actors toward a common destination. The object of this
theatrical experiment is to rapidly develop a vocabulary of gestural,
musical and poetic skills. The exploration of various theatrical forms
expands preconceived notions about the diversity of expression. Actors
are encouraged to examine their own burning questions and coveted ideals,
wildest wishes and flights of fancy as raw material for a short script.

ACTION RACKET LAB Storytelling Workshop
For Teens
Lois and Joanie share their storytelling expertise and encourage participants to share their observations and conclusions. They start with questions:
- What makes a good story?
- What is the difference between hearing a story and reading one?
- How do characters help to tell the story?
- How do suspense, conflict and humor make a good story even better?
Word games inspire participants to reveal the stories they've always wanted to tell.
The workshop is given in single and multi-session formats. Duration of each session: 90 minutes.
